Our beloved colleague, Jen Heller, will be retiring from The Ohio State University on April 29, 2022, after 32 years of service. Over those 32, years she held positions in Corporate Development, the College of Social Work, and the last eight-plus years in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
As our alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students visit campus, it would be hard not to see the real-life impact Jen has had on this college through her fundraising efforts. From the director of Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens serving in a fully funded endowed position, to all the lighting and controls operating the brand-new Controlled Environment Agriculture Research Complex and countless students walking our sidewalks benefiting from endowed scholarship awards, Jen has truly made a difference for the university, with over $30 million raised or collaborated on during her 32-year career.
Please join us for Jen’s retirement party on Thursday, April 28, 2-4 p.m. on the front lawn of the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building located at Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory, 2548 Carmack Road, Columbus, Ohio 43210. Remarks will be made at 3 p.m. Parking is available in the event gravel parking lot west of the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building. Per Jen’s request, we will be gathering outside rain or shine, so please dress for the weather! RSVP here, by April 22. Click here to download a calendar reminder.
